
The Council of Forest Industries, Northern Operations, Forest Education Program annually provides one $1000 Scholarship in recognition of the many pioneers who helped build the forest industry in north-central British Columbia.
The award is open to students attending any NLC campus. To be eligible for the Forestry Pioneers Scholarship, students must have the highest academic standing at the end of a program leading to a career in the forest industry. Applicable programs include Commercial Transport Technician, Electrician Training, Heavy Duty Technician/ Commercial Transport, Instrumentation, Millwright, and Welding.
Selection is based solely on academic achievement and will be made by Northern Lights College.
